 The OPS is excited to offer our first series of Webinars for 2017!  To register, click on the name of the course you want to take and follow the instructions.  The price of each hour is $25 for OPS members and $30 for non-members. Credits will be awarded after a quiz on the material in the lecture has been successfully completed.

Purposeful Looking and Meaningful Imaging of Macular Hole
Denice Barsness, CRA, CDOS, ROUB, FOPS

Understanding of ocular anatomy is an integral part of being a competent imager.  This presentation will be based on a solid review of the anatomical characteristics of macular hole as they relate to the multiple modalities of ophthalmic imaging. Case presentations, illustrations and diagrams will be used to assist in recognizing the anatomy and physiology of the various stages of macular hole. Terms such as vitreous adherence, tractional syndrome and foveolar dehiscence will be illuminated using clinical images.

Color Montages- (Montaging Made Easy)

A breakdown of montaging and the need for a minimal or full montage depending on the diagnosis will be explained.  By the end of this lecture the student will be able to identify ways to make a montage and apply it to imaging for their clinic use.

Intro to Anterior Segment OCT

Introduction to the Anterior Segment OCT with a focus on Corneal Transplants.  This presentation will review the ASOCT, discuss post op DMEK/DSEK imaging and the ASOCT's many other clinical uses.  Discussion will include corneal transplants in detail, case studies, and example images. By the end of the course the student will be able to identify clinical use of anterior segment OCT and it's applicationss.
