Annual Program Volunteers- THANK YOU!

Posted By Laura Savage, COMT, CRA, Friday, December 20, 2013
Updated: Thursday, December 19, 2013

The OPS Annual Program could not take place without the efforts of many volunteers. Before the meeting our Board Members spend many hours planning and organizing the program as well as during the meeting to make sure everything runs smoothly. Numerous people donate their time teaching courses and workshops and many more help out with speaker introductions, audiovisual and equipment needs and room monitoring. Every volunteer is a valuable member of the team that produces an exceptional educational experience!

This year we had 34 room monitors who worked diligently to make sure that the courses ran smoothly. Although their main duty was checking in attendees to verify course attendance for continuing education credits they did much more behind the scenes to keep things flowing on schedule. Our Room Monitors for the 2013 OPS Annual Program were: Adeline Stone, Allan Laurens, Beth Koch, Brenda Nakoski, Chuck Etienne, Chuck Hamm, Cornelia Gottlieb, Cynthia Vandenhoven, Debbie Saucedo, Delia Cogdill, Elizabeth Silvis, Eric Kegley, Fran McIver, Jaclyn Pisano, Jim Sherry, Keri Kilgo, Kirsten Locke, Kit Morehead, Laura Savage, Lindy Williams, Lynn Roderick, Marinel Casiano, Mary Mladek, Melanie Zuckero, Nick Bianco, Rona Esquejo, Sandra Pineda, Sonia Paulish, Sonya Brooker, Tamera Mangas, Tamera Schoenholz, Tina Hamet, Tony Medina and last but not least, Vanessa Wynn.

Many thanks to our Room Monitors and everyone who gave of their time and talents to make sure that the 2013 OPS Annual Program was a success!

On another note, this will be Laura Savage’s last year as the Chair of the Board of Education Volunteer Committee. She will continue serving on the committee as a member, but Rebecca Tudor will be taking over as Chair of the Volunteer Committee. For 2014, volunteers should still reach out to Becky at the account.
