For a FABULOUS hike, 360 degree views of Golden Gate Bridge, Bay Bridge, Richmond Bridge- stunning. 15-20 minutes drive from the Marina neighborhood of SF (near Fisherman's Wharf ) head North across the Golden Gate Bridge to Ring Mountain. In the heart of this bucolic urban environment is an ancient set of trails and ring of rocks who's origins are unclear. You can hike for hours here with stunning views of the Bay Area. On a clear day, you really can see forever. See the map.
