City Spotlight: Three Dots and a Dash and Hopleaf

Two of my favorite places in Chicago are Three Dots and a Dash and Hopleaf. Three Dots and a Dash is styled in the vain of the classic tiki bars like Trader Vic's in NYC. To find Three Dots you have to go through a back alley and down into a skull lined basement where you will find a unique mix of classic Tiki cocktails and their own concoctions. I love running in for a pre-dinner drink.  If you want to hang out, get there early to get a seat at the bar or make a reservation for a table.

Hopleaf is a wonderful Belgian style bar/restaurant in the Andersonville neighborhood.  No one under 21 allowed!!! They have a great beer list with something for everyone's taste. Also the Mussels and Frites are out of this world!!
