Great speakers, intriguing topics, and a fabulous venue made the OPS Mid-Year Program in San Francisco a huge success! Debby Brown did a fantastic job recruiting speakers to give talks on a wide variety of topics ranging from an in-depth review of slit lamp imaging by James Gilman to a great overview of how adaptive optics is clinically relevant by Dr. Jacque Duncan. The audience had a chance to show off their knowledge during Libba Affel's Descriptive Interpretation of OCT and Tim Bennett's Ophthalmic Jeopardy course.
Over 250 physicians and photographers filled the room for the 2 hour OPS/ASCRS Symposium moderated by Bob Cavicchi at the Moscone Center. Highlights include Dr. Josh Teichman's talk on Imaging with iPhone, Dr. George OD Rosenwasser's review on corneal imaging, Beth Ann Benetz' talk on endothelial analyses, and Ditte Hess' instruction on how to perform Gonio Photography with the RetCam.
Kudos to Denice Barsness, Debby Brown, and the Board of Education for a fantastic program!
