At the Mid-Year Program in San Francisco, we will be having a very special symposium that will feel a lot like the Scientific Session.  After lunch on Saturday, attendees will be shuttled from the Hotel Kabuki over to the Moscone Convention Center.  The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) will be hosting their Annual Program at this location.  There will be enough time for OPS attendees to check out the exhibit hall (FREE with your OPS badge!) to talk to vendors and check out the winning images at the OPS Scientific Exhibit.  At 3pm, the very first OPS/ASCRS Symposium will be taking place in room 131 at the Moscone Center.  For 2 hours, attendees will enjoy short lectures given by a combination of doctors and photographers.  Both OPS members and ASCRS attendees will be able to attend this unique combined symposium.  I hope that everyone will leave this symposium excited to discuss what they've learned with their colleagues.
