I have Weds Feb 26 thru Tue Mar 4 available for a ski trip. I had planned to go to Utah with a friend but he had to cancel due to work. I haven't booked anything yet so I'm open for any location. Anyone have the time to join me? Maybe some of you Mid-westerners & Easteners might want to come out of the deep freeze & thaw out on the slopes ;-)

Paul Paquette

Paq,

I was thinking about joining you, but my schedule won't work out then. I was toying with the idea of a Utah trip to use up an airline credit, but prices jumped dramatically in the last two weeks.

I have a place booked at Loon Mountain in NH from Feb 9-16. It's a small but nice condo if anyone wants to drop by midweek for some skiing.

Loon is an overpriced Vermont ski area in New Hampshire. Not my favorite place to ski but there are several great areas within 15-45 minutes (Cannon, Waterville Valley, Bretton Woods, etc). Might take a long drive around Mt. Washington to ski Wildcat one day. That's been on my list for years. I love the low-key atmosphere, low prices and better skiing compared to VT.

I was in Seattle for the holidays and was bummed that the areas in Snoqualmie Pass were all closed for lack of snow.

Still might be up for a last-minute late season trip (late march) if weather & schedule cooperate...
