We have actually moved away from the clamp-on armrests. For the past few years we have been using the foam blocks that ship with Lucentis boxes and we cut foam wedges (triangles) from these blocks. They are comfortable for the patient, the sit flat on the table and can be easily positioned to accommodate for any physical anomalies the patients may have. Best of all they're free. You can cover them with plastic, or a tissue, or pretty much anything else for cleanliness, We love them. Best way to cut them is to use an electric carving knife with reciprocal blades. Works like a charm.
