Diabetic screening.

One of the docs that I know is working on diabetic screening. For telemedicine diabetic screening, out of the three nonmyd cameras, Topcon, Zeiss, Canon, which one is considered easiest to use? Which is consider better images quality? Which one would you pick for your office? Any insight on the three cameras above is greatly appreciated. Please email me directly if you do not want to express your opinions in this open forum.

Also, any other Nonmyd that he should check out besides the three above.

We use a 3 year old Canon CR1 Mark II Camera with Merge Symphony Web. The camera is very easy to use. We do all of our fundus photos with dilated pupils. The images are excellent and we are easily able to get stereo disc photos on our patients as well. Doing the periphery can be challenging as the camera does not swivel like a normal fundus camera for peripheral shots. When purchased the camera we also purchased the external fixation light (which was additional) and that helps with the periphery.
