Our practice is expanding and we looking for a data management solution that would allow us to integrate all ophthalmic imaging and possibly non-ophthalmic images like carotid US, CT scans, MRI's etc. Our hospital wide EMR is EPIC. We would like to add most of the legacy instruments like I3 Bscan, older HVF's, Oculus Pentacam, Topcon Auto refractors, etc.

As for newer imaging gear we would incorporate 2 Heidelberg Spectralis systems, a Zeiss FF450 running Merge Healthcare software and possibly a new Canon CX-1 camera with its standard software. O

So far I have read some info about Zeiss Forum, Escalon Axis and Merge iConnect Access. I would like to ask for opinions, experiences and recommendations about any of these three systems integrating with EPIC. Ballpark $$$? Easy of use? Pitfalls?
