I am in need of your assistance, again. I received the following inquiry:

<I'm the ophthalmic imaging manager for Gloucestershire and I am looking to get some slit lamp camera training for my team. We have recently acquired a Haag Streit IM900 camera and urgent require training to see patients in clinic. Could you advise on how we go about this?>

I could use some suggestions on places/individuals they might contact to obtain slit lamp camera training in the UK. Any and all responses will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Usually, the manufacturer will supply basic training on an instrument, but probably not training that is "diagnosis based".

I think the best place to make this inquiry would be to the Ophthalmic Imaging Association of the UK (OIA) via their website.

Laurence Lane, at Moorfields, showed some lovely slit lamp images at ICOP, but I think that going to OIA first is the best route. They should know of imagers in many locations in England.

Hope this helps,

P
