In what has become a bit of a tradition at the OPS mid-year educational program, I have once again been invited to present Ophthalmic Jeopardy. This will be the sixth year in a row for Jeopardy at the mid-year, and each time I include some new categories and questions into the mix to keep it fresh.

I’m starting to compile material now and thought I’d reach out here to see if any of you have suggestions for new categories or questions you might want to see included this year. In the spirit of “edutainment” we want to keep it fun and educational at the same time. Anything related to ophthalmology and imaging is fair game. Those of you who’ve attended in the past will know what I mean. In fact several past attendees have sent suggestions or questions to me that have already been incorporated. Denice Barsness suggested: “You’ve Got Some Nerve” and Gary Miller has sent many questions and category ideas including the very popular “Ex-Girlfriends”!

If anyone here wants to forward some ideas, questions, or content to me, I’ll try to work them into the new edition. I always try to include images, videos, or sound clips with all clues, so keep that in mind with any suggestions you may have. Take a look at the attached gif file to see some typical examples of questions we use.

Please consider joining the Ophthalmic Jeopardy “Clue Crew” by submitting your ideas to: tbennett1@hmc.psu.edu.

Tim,

I am sending you two categories (via email) I thought of the other day during a moment of creativity. And I will even include 5 answers/questions to boot! Feel free to change, remove, tweak anything you like. But I think you will, at the very least, enjoy the category titles!

Gary
