When uploading FA images to the reading portal, I was under the impression all FA images were to be sent unenhanced. Thus if your using a Escalon/MRP capture system, many times without enhancements to the FA, the images don't look that great.

Do the reading center staff use enhancements? Thus when I get a comment, "FA images submitted were dark and would make grading difficult for FPRC". Did the staff member bother with performing enhancements?

Looking at the FA without enhancements I would agree with the comment. Press the F10 key in the Escalon/MRP software while the images are being reviewed and the images look great.

My experience over the decades with performing FA's has taught me it's almost impossible to shoot a spot on FA without enhancements (Spectrailis FA excluded).

Don't the reading centers authorize their staff to use enhancements?

Thanks

I know you are supposed to down load them off of your application, uncompressed language, and unenhanced images.
I am unfamiliar with the Escalon software, and I do apologize while also hoping that someone who has this software will chime in, though, it would also be helpful if they had the identical combination of offloading and uploading to a reading center.
What reading center are you uploading to? I'm eager to know....
Good Luck,
