One of our wonderful ICOP partners, Gerard DeGraaf of OFN, the Dutch imaging society, contacted me today with some storage challenges using Merge and Zeiss.  I am unfamiliar with these systems so I am hoping an OPS colleague be of assistance.

He wrote as follows:

Dear Paula!

Forgive me for using your time: I’m in trouble! Are you aware of any colleague using Zeiss FF450 and Merge as a storage? Since April (!) I’m trying to connect my two brand new FF450’s to Merge, but it’s still a problem to have the timer info in the image and not to have each image multiplied twice (or more) when storing to Merge. I wonder if anybody had the same problem and which solution was found to cope with it….
