<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Our department has been asked by one of our Research Doctors to carry out Fundus Images on a mouse. Although we have not tried it yet we're pretty sure it will not work on our Zeiss FF450. Does anyone have any experience in this area who could offer us any advice. </p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We know that Fundus photographs&nbsp;of mice has been&nbsp;successfully carried out at a hospital in Germany, so it must be possible. </p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>We've been told by our research Doctors that they would likely&nbsp;pay for a new fundus camera if it would be possible carry out the images on the mice with the new device. </p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>If any knows anything on this subject we would appreciate any advice or input.</p>

<description><![CDATA[Sarah,<br /><br />Tim Steffens, Director of Ophthalmic Imaging at Kellogg Eye Center at the University of Michigan presented a very thorough and informative lecture on the OPS Webinars on imaging animals which included imaging mice.<br /><br />This might be offered again in the future so I would keep checking the website for the OPS Webinar schedules. <description><![CDATA[Excellent advice from Bob.  I think that Mark Croswell did mouse studies in the past as well.  So did Rhonda Curtis, but she is retired now.<br /><br />Of note, you should double check the regulations in your location.  Here at the U of Utah we are NOT allowed to use instruments used on patients in the clinics for animal studies.  We have to have instruments dedicated to animal studies only. Apparently we have found a solution, but thanks for the words of wisdom anyway. We will be sure to get in contact with Tim Steffens or Mark Croswell if require further advise, we will also keep our eyes open for any webinars on the subject. <br>
