<p>Does anyone know if fluorescein affects the false colour images of machines like the Spectralis multicolour or Optos?<br />
</p>
<p>For example if we took "colour" images after an angio would they look different to ones taken with no fluorescein in the patient's system&nbsp;or just the same?<br />

<description><![CDATA[It influences the false color in the same way as the BR images are influenced.  You can compare a pre-dye BR image with a post dye Pseudo Color image and look at the GR and BR images to get the direct comparison, but there is a definite influence from it. ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[Here's an FA from today using the MC during the FA.&nbsp; The dye creates an interesting glow, however, the traditional FA is much more informative in my opinion, the dye leaves too much to wonder in the MC as the color that it creates mimics an area that's swollen, whereas in OCT those areas affected aren't much beyond normal thicknesses with some NVD from the ischemic BRVO.]]></description>
