I have never used a model/training eye before so was wondering if there is a specific brand or model that is best. I want to do some in-house training and feel as if a model/training eye would be best to utilize, especially for techs that have never used a fundus camera. Any suggestions and/or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jason,
If you do any clinical trials with the DARC reading center, they usually send your site a test eye that can clamp on to the fundus camera to certify your equipment. It's something that you keep at your site. If you happen to be involved with DARC at all you could use theirs for training purposes maybe? Test eyes from clinical trial reading centers are the only ones I have ever used, but they are all great and easy to use. Not sure if that is helpful or not. Good luck!
Margaret
