Hello all,

Recently I found myself in the ER after having my back lock up on me and becoming so tense I laid in bed half the day. I have chronic knee issues which have shifted my gait in my hips, so it's possible that's driving the rest of my current issue.

I'm curious if there are tips/tricks that you could share about imaging stance and patient management that might help with preventing a repeat of this issue.

I've had back issues over the years too. If you have a patient that is compliant enough you could have a small rolling chair for you to sit in and direct them from there. You could also use it while you both wait for timeframes during dye exams. Hope that helps and you get some relief bud.

Paul,
I found that using a standing desk between patients for my computer work, really helped. We had counter height desks so we could stand, as I have found that sitting was the worst thing for my back after I injured it. I still use a standing desk at home!
Libba
