I was just wondering how long exciter/barrier filters last? I know it's dependent on use, but we just replaced them a little over a year ago and now we have replaced them again. Any thoughts?

Thanks!!

Hi Simran,

What prompted you to replace the filter sets? We're you experiencing changes in exposure or contrast? If so it's a good idea to suspect the filters, but I would also consider the digital sensor as a potential cause. If you describe the issues leading up to the filter swap, we may be able to give you a better answer. Feel free to post images if you want feedback.
