The OPS Marketing Committee recently printed stickers promoting the OPS website and distributed them to attendees at the Chapel Hill Mid-Year Meeting. For those of you who were there and have a sticker, feel free to upload photos of your sticker either attached to something or in cool/exotic/fun places. Think of it like "Flat Stanley”. The Marketing Committee will distribute additional stickers at the OPS Annual Meeting for those of you who weren’t at the Mid-Year, so you can get in on the fun and proudly display your OPS sticker.

We haven’t come up with an official name for this project yet, but some suggestions so far:

Where’s "OP"?

Special OPS

Any others?

So where do the folks like me who aren't able to attend either meeting get their hands on these stickers? I would be interested in getting a couple.

OPS stickers were given to attendees at the OPS mid-year meeting in Chapel Hill. We plan to have them available at the annual meeting in Chicago as well. We are looking into other ways to get them to OPS members. There have been a few suggestions for a "virtual" sticker for those that can't attend the meetings and get the real thing. Stay tuned for an announcement or blog post about the many uses of these cool stickers.

For the lucky few that already have one, lets see some photos of "OP"!

... And Tim...

can you confirm or deny the rumor that you actually have the OP symbol tattooed on your ankle, similar to that of Count Olaf and his VFD insignia? I did not realize you were such a big fan of the Series of Unfortunate Events series!

Inquiring minds want to know...

No tats on my ankle, but not a bad idea. Maybe we should have a secret handshake too. The OPS is a bit of a cult-like group shrouded in mystery like the VFD in the Series of Unfortunate Events. ;-)

I guess both our daughters must've been fans of the books. I read them all - pretty funny.

If I were going to get a tatoo, I'd go with the OPS logo. It's cooler.
