The Johnny Justice, Jr. Scholarship Award was created by the Board of Directors of the Ophthalmic Photographers’ Society to not only honor its founder, but also to assist its members in their efforts to gain knowledge and expertise in the field of ophthalmic photography. The Johnny Justice, Jr. Scholarship Award and other special projects are supported by the OPS Endowment Fund. The fund is supported by contributions and fund raising activities such as the raffle held during the Annual Educational Program.

Here’s what Mrs. Adeline Stone of Spokane, WA has to say about winning the JJJSA:

"Receiving the Johnny Justice, Jr. scholarship has meant the opportunity to gain more education as a photographer, and improve my imaging techniques with my fellow imagers at the Mid Year Meeting. This award will help me to further my photography skills on my journey to becoming a CRA. I am much honored to have the opportunity to advance my knowledge, and without this scholarship I would not have the same availability to go to the Mid Year Meeting. Thank you for the support from OPS, as I am very grateful for the wonderful experience in Chapel Hill. Thanks!” -Adeline Stone, 2012 JJJSA Recipient for the Chapel Hill, NC Mid-Year Meeting If you have any questions please contact me at resquejo@unch.unc.edu I look forward to hearing from you!

All the Best,
