I once had a litle blue book put out by the OPS, from 2009 or 2010, that had all of us CRA's listed in it, by last name, by city, or by state. It was very easy to see who was certified, where they worked, and whom they worked for.
I think mine got wet, and I threw it away.
I remember using it to find out CRA's that were in a particular place.
So, now I need that again, and the OPS search engine doesn't seem to be doing it for me.
I need a hot CRA in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for a brother of a patient, that we see here in Long Island New York, for their diabetes.

I figure, if you are operating a camera in an ophthalmogist practice down there, then you will know how to shoot a good diabetic pan for these relatives with PDR.

Subsequently, being able to give them the best visual outcome, based on the best photographs available.

You were describing the OPS membership directory.  The last one that was printed was in 2010 and the cover was blue (each year was a different color of cover).   Once we switched to the new website system, the OPS discontinued printing the membership directory.  The membership directory only included current members - it was not a directory specific to CRA certification.

The new website directory search function only includes current OPS members.  I did a search for you in the inactive/expired file and we have never had a member from the Dominican Republic.  Sorry:(

Jim, you are talking about the old printed OPS member directory. We stopped printing a directory when we launched this new site a year and a half ago.

There are multiple ways to conduct a search on the website. To search for a member by name, just type the name into the site Search field on the upper left corner of any page on the site. This may give more results than just the member's contact info, but its quick.

If you want to do an advanced search (state, city, province, country) click on Message on the right-hand menu. Then click on Message a Member to open the member search page. There are multiple options (Basic & Advanced tabs).

The BOC maintains a directory of current CRA & OCT-C certified individuals here on the site, but its separate from the member directory.It doesn't provide location or contact info, just whether an individual holds current OPS certification and expiration/recert date. I think the BOC is looking for a new database app for this list so it may not be completely up to date.
