<title>Spectralis - Cirrus Variences</title>

<description><![CDATA[<P>One of our docs is currently doing a study using the Cirrus OCT. We do a mac cube and an RNFL scan on each patient. </P>
<P>In order to accommodate more patients into the study, we are being asked to use one of our other offices so people don't have so much of a drive to the main hospital. Problem is, the OCT in that office is the Spectralis.&nbsp; </P>
<P>Does anyone know of any exact micron differences between those two devices and those two scans?</P>

<P>Can I assume that's for the macular scans? If so, is that in <EM>all </EM>quadrants or just central foveal? </P>

<description><![CDATA[<P>Leah made a great suggestion that's worth a try, especially&nbsp;if more than one OCT is available in the same clinic.</P>
<P>Has anyone done a literature search? I remember seeing a chart that listed several OCT devices and the average thickness measurement difference between devices. I just took a quick look and haven't found the article I'm thinking of, but these two might be&nbsp;of some help:</P>
