It was great seeing some new faces at the podium rather than just the "usual suspects".

Feedback from the course has been very positive! We easily achieved both of our goals for this course:

  • Sharing simple, practical information with our colleagues.
  • Encouraging new speakers to organize and present a lecture.

I think I speak for all of us who attended or presented in saying I learned some cool pearls that I'll be able to put to use in the clinic.

Attended the course so I can speak from a "personal perspective".

Great content and nice job by all who participated. Event eh "newbies" did an n outstanding job.

My only critique? One presenter did 3 tips/presentations. Thought his was a bit much. Would rather see one topic from each presenter. This is a minor quibble though and din't detract from the course.

Nice job Tim. Looking forward to seeing this again at other OPS ed programs!

Remember to think of this as "show and tell". We want to keep it informal, without too many rules or restrictions. Some structure is necessary, but we want to create a welcoming environment where every attendee could feel comfortable getting up in front of the group to share. 

Our hope is that EVERYONE in the audience left the room thinking of ideas they could share with the group the next time we do this course.

And of course the first-time presenters in the group were, in a word, - "Brilliant!" ;-)
