Hi Melanie,

We rarely do AS OCT's... (for now), so we have no protocol. Like anything else we do as imagers, I suppose any protocol would be dependent on what the docs are looking to document.

I just sat through a great lecture from Libba Affel today regarding AC OCT's and I do not recall her mentioning any protocol, per say.

That being said, I anxiously wait to see if any of our wonderful members chime in with answers to your request.

Gary

Mel-

We aren't doing too many AS-OCTs using the Heidelberg, but when we do our protocols tend to be similar to other devices in regards to magnification. Start with the longer scan length to capture the overall image and then shorten the scan length to zoom in for detailed imaging. AS-OCT is difficult to make protocols for because of the variety of pathology that you can image with it. You might try developing a cornea protocol and an angle protocol to have two to start with. I'd then base it off of what your MDs tend to send you.

Let us know how it all turns out!

Sarah
