Thanks for the OPS shout out Tim! and for stressing the need for skilled training on imaging devices.  It's NOT as simple as pushing a button and we need to remind our practices and institutions to that important, and often overlooked reality.

The other one I hear frequently is that the "machine" missed the pathology. I'd argue that the machine didn't miss anything, the imager did.

Appropriate training is necessary to build the skills needed to capture good diagnostic images on a consistent basis.

This attitude has been key in dampening interest in the OPS and other educational groups across the board.
