Selected as a Feature Exhibition for the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival

Double the Pleasure, Double the Fun features never-before-seen 3D stereographic photographs from the Photographical Historical Society of Canada’s collections, inviting visitors to experience stereographs from the 1850s to the 1950s first-hand, using historical and contemporary stereoviewers, with a particular focus on images of Toronto. Jeffery’s and Wong’s aim is to create an exhibition centred on novelty, nostalgia, and fun, as well as the relevance of 3D photography and film in our day-to-day lives.

Built in 1822, Georgian-style Campbell House is conveniently located on the northwest corner of University Avenue and Queen Street in Toronto (at Osgoode Subway Station). The beautifully landscaped grounds are an oasis in the heart of downtown.

Campbell house is just 3 subway stops south from Museam Subway station on the University Subway line.

ICOP Toronto: Exhibition of Historical STEREO Photography

The timing couldn't be better! A stereo-exhibition just after ICOP in association with Scotiabank CONTACT photography festival.

The Campbell House has agreed to extend the gallery hours beyond their usual 4:30pm closing on May 3, 2014 specifically to accommodate ICOP conference attendees.

Entrance fee only $5.00 Canadian, with a minimum of 10 ICOP visitors. Grab old and new friends and visit Campbell House for this special exhibition.

What a great way to wrap up ICOP in Toronto. Glad you negotiate them extending their hours for us on Saturday. Excellent job Cynthia! I'm sure we can get a group of attendees together to see this exhibit. I'm a self-professed stereo geek, so count me in.

Although not a "Stereo Geek", self professed or otherwise we still do all imaging at the clinic in stereo.

It will be a wonderful way to wrap up our Toronto ICOP meeting on Sunday, and I'm sure Tim will have the best 3-D viewing glasses available .....

So I click on this post and while I start reviewing what folks are saying I hear the familiar howl of Count Floyd! (very scary!) Then I'm thinking, "Where the heck is that coming from!? That's gotta be Tim Bennett's doing!" Scroll down a little further and there's The Count himself!
