I know that this subject has been covered before but sometimes 2 years in imaging can be a lifetime. Anyone using a handheld fundus camera or cheap means of capturing a color fundus image that they really like?

I have been working with Steve Verdooner on a handheld retinal camera using the iPhone. We showed it in prototype form at the AAO in New Orleans during an invitation only event. We are still in the process of developing it and getting FDA clearance. You can see it at: http://www.eyecam.pro/home.html

We have an old Kowa film based handheld fundus camera. We transitioned from film many years ago so we do not use it but I am reluctant to get rid of it because it is in excellent condition. We have the case and all the attachments.

When we were still film based we didn't use it much then either. Only used for occasional bedside consults.
