What are you guys using for external and motility? Also one of the docs mentioned a camera with video for nystagmus patients.

Any thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

The newer/higher models now include video so one of those may be a better option for you.

Agree, it was an AWESOME ICOP Program inToronto! Cynthia Vanden Hoven, Jim Soque, Paula Morris and the entire BOE did an outstanding job of combining the midyear with an international program successfully.

We use the Nikon D700, but again, no video. I am currently looking to put a camera into one of our satellite offices and I am looking at the D300 ($1200ish) or D 600 ($1700ish). If I'm not mistaken, they both do HD video, but only the 600 is full frame, so I would lean more to that one.

Totally agree 100% with the ICOP comments. While I had limited time in Toronto (my first ICOP), I think it was a great experience all imagers should get some exposure to at least once in their career! Fascinating cases, incredible images, great speakers from around the world and lots of new ideas and updates... and that was just the first day!

The touch screen is great as when we do externals from above the head. We only use the pop up flash and it works fine for kids but i have to hold the camera upside down so as to reduce the shadow. Upside down shooting is awkward but with the screen enabled for capture, you just touch the screen and it focuses and captures at the same time! the kids decided on the Nikon D5200 since we don't do many externals. The video imagaing did not seem that important anymore either.
