I'm looking for feedback from others using the Heidelberg HRA2 or Spectralis who blend their ICG/FA dye in a single syringe.

What ratio ICG to FA do you use? ie. 2.5ccs ICG / 2.5ccs FA for a 5cc total dose.

Do you follow with a 5cc flush of 0.9% Sodium Chloride?

Thanks for your feed back.

Scott

We use 2cc's FA, 2cc's ICG. No flush. We use the Spectralis which is very sensitive. This dose is more than enough.

We use 6 cc's of sterile diluent to reconstitute our ICGA dye (so only 60% of the total volume of the sterile water) and then use 3 cc's of the resulting solution to 2 cc's of 25% FA dye for a total volume of 5 cc's. I follow with a NaCL flush . I have been playing around lately with the light power of the Spectralis (turned down to 75%) and the FA and ICGA intensity seem to be closely aligned.
