Art Auction at Annual Program

We had a successful silent auction last year at the OPS Annual Program and want to try it again this year.

We are seeking donations and are asking for your help in obtaining some contributions of items to auction off.  We are looking for hand-crafted items/art - crocheted or knitted items, jewelry, pottery, bath products using essential oils, photos, wood-carving, glass works, quilts, etc.  What's your hobby?  What would you like to bid on?

We would like donations by August 15th so we can start the auction online prior to the Annual Program in Chicago.  That way everyone can participate, not just those attending the education program.  All items may be shipped to the OPS Central Office unless it is a large item and it would be easier to ship to the winner after the auction is over.  If your item is too large to ship, please take a good photo of it so we can use the photo to advertise the item.

Images of all items included in the auction will be placed in an 'auction album' on the OPS Facebook page.  Every time someone bids, the item's info will be updated and it will appear as a change on Facebook.  We will also list the person who donated the item (unless you want to be anonymous) and any info that helps describe the work.

Please help the Fund Raising Committee in obtaining items to be included in the auction.  If you have something or know someone who has a hobby and would like to share their item with the OPS, please contact them and give them the OPS Central Office number (800-403-1677) so we can get the ball rolling.

I am able to put an "experience" together. I think I would like to call it "Bullets, BBQ, & Bourbon/Beer". Description: This experience can be tailored from the first time shooter to the expert shooter looking for a good day on the range. Following the firearms range will be BBQ, and your choice of Bourbon or Beer. A designated driver will be furnished with this experience. In the fine print I need it to say:Your travel to and from Central North Carolina is your own expense. Two nights in a hotel in the area will be gifted with this experience. I have the right to deny this to anyone. A thorough background check will be run on the winner of the item. If it is unlawful for you to posses a firearm, or you have been charged with/ or convicted of a violent crime please do not bid on this item.
