Description

This  course  will  cover  corneal  imaging  in  various  animal  research  models  such  as  mice,  rats,  and  rabbits.  This  course  will  cover  the  struggles  and  adaptability  of  working  with  and imaging  animal  research  models.  Conducting and  securing  reliable,  truthful  and  interpretive  research  images  is  at  the  forefront  of ocular  research  which  result  in  findings  that  move  to  treatment  and  patient care  in  both  people  and animals.  Applications for imaging  of  corneal  wounds  will  also  be  discussed.  Following this course attendees should  have  an  understanding  of  the  adaptability  required  in  corneal  research  imaging  to  produce  diagnostic  and  publishable  images.
